Shopping in Turin: between understated elegance and hidden gems

The heart of high-end shopping develops along via Roma, via Lagrange and via Carlo Alberto: once a porticoed route for the walks of the Savoy court, today it is the realm of elegance with boutiques of the most famous Italian and international designers, as well as historic shops, tailoring ateliers and long-standing Turin brands.

Just a few steps away, the scenic Galleria Subalpina, in Art Nouveau style, opens onto piazza Castello, inviting visitors to continue the walk under the arcades of via Po, among stalls of books and used records, antique dealers and historic bookshops.
